Programs
The VCC is a dynamic congregation that changes every few years as members arrive in and leave Vienna. The programs offered change with the congregation. Some of the regular programs are:
Music
As befits a church located in a city like Vienna with such a strong musical heritage, the worship music program at the Vienna Community Church (VCC) is very dynamic. We are blessed to have a number of trained soloists who contribute their talents. We welcome all who wish to participate in our music program either as a soloist or as a member of the choir. The choir sings almost every Sunday from September/October to May/June. The choir is under the direction of Philippe Ternes and rehearses most Sundays immediately before and after each service. If you would like to sing with the choir, please join in and come to the church at 11 am on Sunday mornings for rehearsal. If you are interested in sharing your music talent in any way with the VCC, please contact the music chair, Sandra Nel.
Bible Study
A bible study group, led by Pastor Hustad, meets on Sunday mornings before the service at 10 am at the Chattanooga Cafe on the Graben (Graben 29A, 1010 Wien). Join in with the bible study and then come to choir practice at 11:00!
Christian Education and Sunday School
After the children's sermon during the Sunday service, children are welcome to attend Sunday school classes. Other opportunities for Christian education are initiated by members of the congregation from time to time.
Women's Fellowship
The women's group arranges regular coffee and luncheon meetings. These activities are usually listed in the weekly newsletter, the VCC Voice, linked to the activities page.
Young Adults
The Young Adults group is a group for students and young professionals who live and study in and around Vienna. We offer a Christian home away from home to all of you. Besides regular meetings we do other activities as well: trips to the surroundings of Vienna, visiting one of the many museums in town, eat-outs in one of the many Viennese eateries, etc.
